Education:

– Bachelors in art literature Delhi University.
– Simultaneously studied art at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi.
– During 1982 – 84 worked on a cultural scholarship awarded by the department of culture of Govt. of India.

Honours & Awards:

1981 &1985 – All India Drawing Exhibition at Chandigarh Museum
1981 – Annual exhibition of art at IFACS
1982, 1987 & 1992 – Delhi state award from the Sahitya Kala Parishad
1987 – Sanskriti award.
1987 – Silver medal at the first International Biennale of plastic art Algiers.
1988-1990 – Worked on the fellowship awarded by the department of culture Govt. of India.
2005- GR8 award for arts for women.

She lives & works in New Delhi.
